It's useless to add further comments. In the absence of words, this time... the NUMBERS speak:

However, I give the review a 5. I combine the comments from scapato da imola and mick: talent and consistency!! Five!! By the way...

Yes, but I’ve already repeated it a thousand times that it was deliberately "non-objective," I’m perfectly aware of that, thanks anyway for the clarification. Honestly, I don’t really care if this album won’t be remembered in the history of rock, since many much worse things than this album are remembered. Just look at the success that Opeth have right now, definitely not reflective of their efforts (Akerfeldt is a great composer!). Anyway, maybe I’ll come to Rome on the 17th if I’m not mistaken... do you know how much the ticket costs?

@misterNO: besides of course the album reviewed here... To bid you farewell (album: Morningrise); Credence (My Arms Your Hearse); Benighted, Face of Melinda (Still Life); Harvest, Patterns in the Ivy II, Still Day Beneath the Sun (Blackwater Park); A Fair Judgement (Deliverance); Atonement, Isolation Years, Hours of Wealth (Ghost Reveries). If you’re interested in some beautiful instrumentals: Silhouette [solo piano, beautiful!], Requiem (Orchid); Epilogue (My Arms Your Hearse); Patterns in the Ivy (Blackwater Park); For Absent Friends (Deliverance). However, I’ll warn you: breaking the music of Opeth down like this is a bit of a sacrilege :) not only because many, many other tracks beyond those listed are spine-tingling, but also because the same acoustic breaks, the same clean vocals can appear as interludes even in much heavier pieces. My advice is to wholeheartedly embrace the music of Opeth, but you've already mentioned that you can't stand growl, so the songs listed above are perfect for you... for the rest, in my opinion, you're missing out a lot. Well, better a little than nothing :D

...and, if I may say, well, you can't say there's no Doom in Draconian Times. Okay, the growl is absent, but there are still those nice heavy riffs, even though they're not taken to the extreme slowness (which, for heaven's sake, I love :D) like in the works of other colleagues. Then the clean guitar arpeggios are delightful. Okay, I'm digressing from the main topic (the TOT), I apologize to the reviewer.
