Another song that comes to mind with the same riff as Black Night is "(We Ain't Got) Nothing Yet" by the Blues Magoos from 1966, 5 years before Fireball.

The review is well written, but there were already plenty of them. I told you so. I'm not the type to give a 1-star rating to reviews, but keep in mind that I did :D.
