ah ah ah, did Helter Skelter anticipate hard rock? But do you know that Cream had already been around for 2 years, and the Beatles knew them quite well since Clapton plays on this album and in the Rock'n'Roll Circus John Lennon plays "Yer Blues" precisely, among others, with Clapton himself (the fantastic Cream calls them that in the video). But do you really think Led Zeppelin are drawing from the Beatles and Helter Skelter? Come on. For me, the album is their peak.
