Well done, what a beautiful comparison! You’ve picked the most flashy and over-the-top footballer for the most over-the-top musicians. In my mind, the Dream Theater are Totti, and any other band with even a hint of substance is like a Manchester United player who, after conceding seven goals, doesn't make any mocking gestures—because it's the overly hyped who need to show how strong and skilled they are, just like Totti against Juve. In fact, if I remember correctly, Ferguson didn't even mention Totti among the threats from Roma. This is what the Dream Theater are for me—not even worthy of being mentioned among the great bands. But when Mr. Totti took seven goals from Manchester United, it doesn’t seem like anyone mocked him that way, probably because they would have needed two hands!

The last appearance, if I'm not mistaken, is in Rock'n'Roll Circus where he plays the maracas during Sympathy For The Devil, if I remember correctly.

For the record, when Brian Jones died, he had already been officially out of the band for a couple of months. During the sessions for "Let It Bleed," he was practically absent (and replaced by Ry Cooder and Mick Taylor), and shortly after, he was denied a visa for the United States due to drug problems. With a tour about to happen in the States, Jagger and the others had to find a replacement and fired Jones. In my opinion, rightly so, because he was no longer able to play anything, to write anything, and he didn't even show up in the recording studio anymore; drugs had destroyed him, and his relationship with Keith had deteriorated, especially because of Pallenberg.

the votes. "Paint It Black" is for me the best track on the album and one of the most beautiful by the Stones ever, with lyrics that are a whole program.

The only true thing is that on one occasion Rotten from the Sex Pistols approached Jagger and asked him whether he had to keep Brian Jones's head under the water for a long time or if he drowned immediately. My favorite Stones album is definitely "Let It Bleed," followed by Sticky Fingers, Exile, Beggars Banquet, and then Aftermath.

And anyway, thanks to that definition, even Prodi is the best prime minister of this century and Scamarcio the most acclaimed Italian actor of this century.
