Modena City Ramblers Dopo Il Lungo Inverno
Voto:
The only thing I remember about these guys is their (terrible) version of Guccini's "Locomotiva." That’s where I stopped, and that was enough for me.
Green Day Bullet in a Bible
Voto:
The Green Day were pretty good (pretty good, let's be clear) 15 years ago. Today they are ridiculous. Just like the review, obviously.
Brian Eno The Drop
Voto:
Brian Eno should always be listened to, especially when you're feeling sad or down. I don't know this one, but "Before And After Science" is something truly mind-blowing. And he has also produced for people like Bowie and U2. In other words, essential.
Le Orme Uomo Di Pezza
Voto:
I believe this is the best album by Le Orme, and one of the most beautiful produced in Italy during that period.
Queen Innuendo
Queen Innuendo

Annoying review: putting aside the lexical nonsense, praising this album is like giving top marks to Cat Stevens' latest work. "Innuendo" is a terrible album, stuffed with boring, repetitive, identical, monotonous tracks (Sting’s cover of "The Show Must Go On" is a thousand times better), and raw energy isn’t enough; art and technique are also required. Queen are not music stars and certainly not a part of rock history (selling millions of records means nothing; otherwise, Britney Spears would be the new Laura Nyro). They are just a perfectly ordinary little band, inflated to the ridiculous by fanatical and obtuse fans who believed that Queen were the ultimate expression of musical art. Apart from a few pioneering works ("A Night At The Opera" and little else), Queen have never amounted to anything and will remain only in the memory of their most feverish fans, but not in the history of music. That space is reserved for others: Bob Marley, Jimi Hendrix, Pink Floyd, The Beatles, Elvis, The Rolling Stones, Mingus, Davis, Coltrane, and similar artists. Not Queen, not Queen.
Red Hot Chili Peppers One Hot Minute
Voto:
Aside from the lexical blunders (one of the best albums. Good?), the review does not correspond to the truth. It's not the best work of the Red Hot, but it's not as scandalous as you say. What should we then say about "Stadium Arcadium"?, but it has a sound and rhythms that are not remarkable but at least courageous, or at least not similar to those often used by the band. A 2.5, but I prefer to round it up to 3, and honestly, it's recommended for those who don’t like the Red Hot. From here, perhaps, they will start to love them. Maybe.
Geri Halliwell Passion
Voto:
Geri Halliwell can't sing, she can't even interpret two lines thrown together randomly, and she expects to be considered the new Madonna. I mean, are we kidding? Madonna has never been a great artist, but she has often managed to reinvent herself and sell (or maybe underprice) her art. Halliwell can wait for her men to rain down, maybe one day the sun will shine on her again.
Francesco Guccini Stanze Di Vita Quotidiana
Voto:
The greatest Italian singer-songwriter? And who is De Andrè? What a mistake.

So, Santa Claus, personally I don't have Bertoncelli's work at home, but I've read it several times online. Let me say that I love Bertoncelli, and yes I did "borrow" a few sentences (Gentlemen, it’s copied from a review of a Venditti album), but I didn't copy everything, also because, for example, often the judgments aren't so similar; this one about Guccini according to the site is worth 4, as you can see I gave it a 2. But yes, in a review of forty lines, at least two sentences here and there are lifted.
