Oasis (What's The Story) Morning Glory?
Voto:
Another duplicate. A so-so review for an absolutely wonderful album (no matter what many say). It's nothing innovative, it’s just pop like we haven't truly heard in a while. Then the Oasis fell into the abyss, and well...
Fabrizio De Andrè / Premiata Forneria Marconi In Concerto Vol. I e II
Voto:
As I mentioned some time ago, there’s nothing to criticize regarding the quality of the tracks (perhaps the best in De André's repertoire, at least up to that period), and the arrangements by PFM are truly remarkable. However, it feels more like a work created with the mind rather than the heart, meaning, too much rationality and not enough room for imagination. The review is splendid.

But is this art too?
Nirvana Nevermind
Voto:
Red card to the reviewer: you can't not give top marks to "Nevermind." An absolute masterpiece, beyond any sterile controversy, capable of splitting the history of music in the '80s and '90s in two. However, the review is nice, perhaps a bit too long, but a lower score for that 4, oh dear...
Pink Floyd Live in Rome Palaeur,June 20,1971
Voto:
Well, yes, by now everything and the opposite of everything has been said about DeBaser and Pink Floyd. Those who love them (a lot, fortunately), those who hate them (not many, thankfully), but this mysterious concert in Rome was really missing for me. Not that there was a pressing need to talk about it, but between Pompeii and Venice, it deserves its own worthy space: the setlist seems interesting, but in 1971 the Pink Floyd had not yet recorded "Dark Side" or "Animals," so, inevitably, a limited setlist. Nice review, Pastore del Rock, surely a fake from some editors...
Bob Dylan Desire
Voto:
"Blood on the Tracks" is definitely better, but "Desire" has at least a couple of songs that are worth a career on their own ("Hurricane," "Sara"). Great Dylan, as always...
Eminem The Marshall Mathers LP
Voto:
Well, Floydman, that's not too great given the ratings: and besides, there are more bands out there than just Pink Floyd. It's fine to be a fan, but going around with blinders on is too much... And a 1 for the review? Come on, it's not written badly...
Michele Zarrillo Il canto del mare

1 and that 1 be.
The Rolling Stones It's Only Rock'N'Roll
Voto:
It’s definitely a lesser album in the Stones' discography, but it’s not the beginning of their decline (in 1981, the excellent "Tattoo You" will be released). Sure, more than praising "It's Only Rock 'n' Roll," a fairly modest track, I'm amazed that no one has yet talked extensively about "Angie," the cornerstone of the entire album. Is it possible that no one knows it?

Really, congratulations to the reviewer, and a bit of envy because I wanted to write this review myself. Anyway, it’s better this way... (Happy Dead There or whatever you call yourself?)
