Doobie Brothers What Were Once Vices Are Now Habits

"Long Train Running" would be infamous? And why? By the way, do you know what infamous means?

Express your ideas, Dave. What isn’t working in what I said?

Eighth review, which adds nothing (but also takes nothing away) to a nice, clean, precise album, above the average of today’s Italian music market. However, frankly, much better has been heard (and is still being heard) out there (an example? The Baustelle. But also the Gang, just to make another example). And then, who would be the best Italian band? These guys, and PFM, and Banco del Mutuo Soccorso. It’s true, it’s stuff from thirty years ago, but compared to these, well, for the sake of peace, I’d prefer not to make comparisons. But you (I hope) definitely understand.
Luca Carboni Le band si sciolgono

How much kindness (because the review is beautiful) for a completely useless album.

I believe that the very funny (?) user Io Ho Il Pene is really upset. These media censorship operations typical of the most nefarious communist-debaserian regime are claiming their first victims. Clearly, it’s a joke. Better to clarify right away.

Yes, I'm sorry, but weren't all these things already said extensively in the previous 6 reviews of this album?
Ivano Fossati Ventilazione
Voto:
So, two things: 1) as well-written as the review is, the album has never convinced me. It has nothing to do with Fossati's later career; here we are just in limbo, and limbo (which can be a matter of personal taste) can either be liked or not. Many tracks are excessively flat and boring, and, as you rightly pointed out, the cover of Paolo Conte is not exactly successful; in fact, I would call it pathetic. When compared to the subsequent masterpieces ("La pianta del thè," "Lindbergh," and especially "Discanto," my favorite), this "Ventilazione" can hardly be defined as anything more than 'decent' (therefore I find your rating exaggerated). Boring songs, as I said, and I can't help but think of the amusing Fossatian parody by Rocco Tanica on Zelig: when listening to this album, he comes to mind more than the real Fossati. 2) I believe that "La mia banda suona il rock" was rejected for other reasons; I think that even Fossati is somewhat ashamed of his early period. That was a hit, but like many hits, it's not worth much. It was of little value, especially when compared, for example, to "Una notte in Italia." The latter is unlikely to be repudiated, because it has never been a hit, and because, all in all, it has a somewhat retro feel. And lately, Fossati seems to be playing at being ancient or nostalgic. His latest works seem a bit repetitive and predictable. But again, it's a matter of taste, just like in my review of Guccini's "Stanze di vita quotidiana."
Edith Piaf The Voice Of The Sparrow: The Very Best Of Edith Piaf

To understand the greatness of Edith Piaf, it would be enough to just listen to "La Vie En Rose." And I’ve said it all, or rather, I’ve said a lot.

"I honestly can't see all these potentials that make it better than ALL THAT YOU CAN'T LEAVE BEHIND." Frankly, I too can’t understand how you could leave a comment like that. Anyway, another faction that is proliferating on DeBaser is the anti-U2 one. I'm really curious to see who will be next.
Ligabue Buon compleanno Elvis

Anyway, I see that the anti-Ligabue party manages to recruit new members every day. After the abolition of military service, the only draft that endures is the virtual one present on DeBaser.
