Steve Hackett Spectral Mornings
Voto:
Great Anderson. You couldn't have chosen better. "Spectral mornings," the song, is the most beautiful instrumental piece I have ever heard; in my opinion, it was inspired by something supernatural...
Van Der Graaf Generator Present
Voto:
I'm absolutely thrilled about the return of VDGG. Present is a stunning album in the first half, but I just can't handle the part with the improvisations. An amazing band with a distinctive personality. And in Italy, we understood this before the rest of the world, since "Pawn Hearts" reached number 1 on our charts in 1972, even beating "Emozioni" by Mina/Battisti!!
Metallica Ride The Lightning
Voto:
Ride the Lightning is the masterpiece of Metallica and the album beyond which one cannot go if they still want to talk about music, and not just speed contests.

Those who are free from prejudices and have an open mind will realize by listening to the Pooh from the 73-79 period that they had rock ideas and attitudes, which they, however, did not know or want to develop. Hypnosphere boy, you are not a human case, don’t worry....

Nice review... it's just that... but aside from "Seamus," where else do you hear blues?
Metallica Master Of Puppets
Voto:
I'm not referring to Master of Puppets, which is a good album, but to all the extreme metal that has gone beyond the already very daring thresholds of a track like "Fight fire with fire." I find it hard to distinguish that "genre" from the noise of a construction site...
Metallica Master Of Puppets

But yes, Jawbreaker, and you are free to think it’s music, of course...

Does it make sense to talk about music when you come across a piece like "Fight fire with fire" on "Ride the lightning" (for me, the true and only Metallica album)? Perhaps it will be another form of art, but I would say it's definitely not music...
King Crimson In The Court Of The Crimson King
Voto:
Dear paloz, I partially agree with you regarding the presumption of some Debaser visitors, who think they are someone special, but I also have some reservations about your review. You certainly have your own style, but perhaps an undisputed masterpiece like this deserved a bit more depth...not necessarily with a long review, mind you (which then requires the willingness and patience to read from start to finish), but in terms of the musical aspect. The important thing, however, remains health, of course...
