Tell me what Guns N' Roses brought after their explosion. I would say the end of glam hard rock, which had already peaked some time before with bands they themselves idolized. Guns were a hard rock band. Period. Not legends, nor did they mark the history of rock. At least not in a commercial sense.

There's classic doom and classic doom, We Live and Born Too Late are classic doom but they don’t really resemble each other, there you go. Anyway, it's true that drone comes from Melvins and Earth, but the point I was making back during the review of Teeth was that today's sound is different, in the sense that every time we mentioned "drone," I had to add "doom" to it. My bad. I meant to say that O'Malley invented DOOM drone, Earth wasn't like that.
