Hellring, it’s clear that you probably have 22-23 CDs at home. Saying that Mastodon don’t do prog is just pathetic, and the fact that they incorporate a thousand other types of sound is something else (see my review, I purposely didn't mention prog). Go back to listening to Sodom and stick with your 22-23 CDs. We’ll talk about it again after a thousand more CDs. Ah, gaggio.

I’m in Jesolo. I can’t wait to see the new tracks live, they are amazing. If you listen to “Blood Mountain” 10 times, it seems calmer, more melodic, more gay, but it’s pure technicality that’s scary, prog-core. Mastodon keep breaking more and more boundaries, which earns them points live with a more diverse setlist. I have to catch Brann Dailor and get a photo to put up in my room.
