Then, regarding the commercialization of metal, I quote Larrok...sure...it certainly didn’t start as a genre meant to be mocked...but it has incredibly become one...go into any record store and what you see the most are covers featuring various skulls or other tacky images...at this point, metal is a cliché...out of the incredible number of bands that come out, few are really good and play something serious...the rest is boring...and you all need to drive this home...there aren’t alternative kids...punk kids...metalheads or whatever...there are just KIDS...actually, PEOPLE...and as long as we continue to think with barriers...blinders, and races, we will never change...

@unforgiven... it's not that Kurt left that kind of message... it was the ignorant kids who interpreted it that way... and for them, it's a so-called "crush"... they act all cool listening to Nirvana and soon they won't have anything left... but those who... like I think me... Alessio... and many others on this site truly "understood" Nirvana and not just from the "aesthetic" side will remain indelibly impressed...

"Kurt Cobain, who only managed to become the idol of anarchists..." ...that one I had missed... I mean... Kurt Cobain... the singer of Nirvana... IDOL OF ANARCHISTS... IDOL OF ANARCHISTS... can you believe it, damn it! I don’t know what you mean by ANARCHISTS... but if you’re alluding to the pseudo-punk kids who hang around schools and draw A's in their notebooks, you’re on the wrong track... I label those kids with one name... IGNORANT... now I don’t want to act all wise... after all, I’m only 15... but I would like someone to better explain certain statements... and I would also advise some of these pseudo-metalheads to broaden their horizons a bit and not stay glued to the stereo listening to an endless solo shouting "Oh! this one is really good!... not like that idiot blondie who can only manage to commit suicide!"... please... something can be liked or not... but by shooting your mouths off like that, you come across as pretentious and superficial... and in today’s world, there are already too many of those...

...Congratulations... what can I say... geniuses... you’ve understood everything... about life and music... you are the stereotype of metalheads... said in the most contemptuous way possible... and if I’ve distanced myself from that kind of metal, the blame lies solely with people like you... superficial... narrow-minded (for crying out loud... still here saying that Nirvana sucks... come on!)... so knowledgeable, yet if you listen to a Sonic Youth album, you wrinkle your nose because there aren’t your fucking solos! I’ll tell you more... I have a friend a few years older who can play all the songs by DT or any other metal band... solos included... and IDENTICAL... this is to prove that playing a one-hour solo like you like it doesn’t necessarily require being some kind of god... in my opinion, expressive power matters more... like in the case of Nirvana... and for Kurt, a simple strum was enough to give me goosebumps...

great review...the album is, in my opinion, one of the most important in the history of rock...the MOST important, I don't think...or maybe it doesn't exist...

The Marlene are always great... anyway, it's true 3 out of 3... Cenere and Ape Regina were already playing even before recording Catartica... this album is definitely perfect... but I prefer the previous one... there’s a bittersweet celebration in it... even if it seems retractable, it feels like it's talking about me...

Then regarding the commerciality of the MCR... I say that this record can be commercial... I had that impression the first and third-to-last time I listened to it... pretty catchy songs... effective little riffs... not bad... but too well placed... polished production... if it hasn't sold much, it's probably because it didn't have the same advertising and media push as The Black Parade... here though... at the very least, we could have tried to believe them and take them as a "serious" band... now it's impossible...

@gege...I don’t know about you...but I think emo is a term that should be used carefully...I’ve always seen it as a stylistic variation of hardcore punk...I mean...instead of writing lyrics about protest...or anger, it focused more on feelings...on depth...in my opinion, it’s wrong to say that emo is a derivative of hardcore...

@gege...yes...after being inundated with new stuff through CDs full of mp3 albums, a friend of mine even passed me the entire discography of My Chemical Romance, and out of curiosity, I listened to it...so I left the comment...

I think I hate them for what they've become... if the dark had remained something sincere and not an end in itself, My Chemical Romance have turned it into yet another pre-packaged trend for pseudo-rebellious kids... that said, they’re not actually that bad when it comes to playing music... probably their biggest mistake was entering the big music business... Gerard Way, as pretentious as he may be, gave an interview to Rolling Stone that didn’t seem scripted... it felt honest... so... at this point... is it really their intention to be this way?
