I haven't read it and obviously I don't care... but from what I've heard, it doesn't seem all that bad... I mean... the plot is quite original... however, since I haven't read it, I can't know how it's developed... in short... from what I've heard from my peers (even those who rightly criticize Moccia's series), it seems to be a teenage novel with some good ideas and vaguely exciting...

well... it didn't drive me crazy either... but still, you can't say that THEY are still clinging to their myths here... I mean... did you listen to it carefully? There are attempts at experimentation... okay... they haven't always worked out... but they are there... the real downside is liam... if he starts to suck in the studio too... a performance like that live isn't the best... but it can happen... however, on record no... I mean... more than being captivating like on rock and roll star... wonderwall... roll with it (the more the merrier) the voice is dragged... sluggish... only on the single is it really good...

I couldn't wait for it to come out... but how low have Battiato and Fossati fallen? Let's hope De Gregori doesn't crumble too...

penis envy drives me crazy… though I’ve never listened to it… anyway, I must be crazy… but I wouldn't devalue them so much musically…

@orwell...there are many times I don't believe that Vasco Brondi's lyrics make sense...but they hit hard because they represent the harsh and raw reality...a song like "Per combattere l'acne," for example, if read without thought, lacks a coherent meaning...but one must empathize...with the mothers talking to the fans and the ballots in the incinerators...put oneself in the shoes of those who go on vacation and risk heart attacks on the highway due to stress...and so many, many other things...this is his magic...

I agree with Azzo... honestly, I can't understand how Vasco can change without repeating himself... either he'll drastically vary his style... and therefore his themes... or he'll make a record like this one... which, however, will feel like déjà vu... my idea is that in a future album, he'll revisit some demo songs... those not used for Cdsd... I would, for example, love to hear "Candiosi," "La peggio gioventù," and "Arrivava via internet la sera" recorded in a decent way, or reuse the beautiful part of "Lacrimogeni" that was cut... but the way I see it... I'm sorry to say... he's expressed far too much with the first album and can only get worse... he's there ready to prove me wrong anyway :)

I didn't like the review... or maybe I just didn't understand where it was trying to go... I mean... would you like a romantic singer-songwriter style Vasco Brondi? If that's the case... well... what I like about him is the rawness (not cruelty) with which he describes everything... that's his uniqueness... cinematic and quite evocative songs... he often doesn’t express personal opinions or wills... just images... like a camera... then he's shy in person, I believe... I spotted him in Cuneo before the concert and again after... he didn't talk much... if he's laconic, that's a good thing for me... otherwise it ends up like the other Vasco... in short... I like LLDCE like this... bare... a bit cold... with a pinch of irony when necessary... just like his songs...

then I almost immediately stopped reading fantasy... my tastes now are completely different... I also find it a bit ridiculous that people my age play Magic and read nothing but fantasy... it's a genre of entertainment... true literature is something else... or there’s more serious fantasy/horror... like... Edgar Allan Poe... H.P. Lovecraft... Stephen King... and others I mean... dark you misunderstood my comment =)
