I’ve only downloaded one song by Rollins… nice… but it doesn’t say much to me on its own… does anyone know which album I could start listening to?

The Marlene are definitely among my all-time favorite bands... I own almost their entire discography... the only one I like a bit less is Che cosa vedi... I find it a bit commercial... authentic gems instead are Senza peso and Bianco sporco...

@blackdog...the Queen in the 70s certainly made pop too...but in my opinion, in the 80s they were even more easygoing...but what did you mean by that "let’s hurt ourselves"?

Anyway, for now I’m not changing my mind... a song can be beautiful and have a trivial lyric... or vice versa... to fully appreciate a band, I need to read their lyrics... music alone often says little... and by reading the lyrics, a song that initially didn’t interest me might catch my attention more... then <<in '91, Blood Sugar Sex Magik by the Red Hot Chili Peppers came out, a band I like much less than Nirvana, but between BSSM and Nevermind... it’s Nevermind that is pop>>... this statement seems very superficial to me... I mean... do you think a record is bad just because it’s pop? ...Well... among your favorite bands, you mention the Beatles... the ultimate pop band... if that’s not pop, what is? ...The Queen dedicated themselves a lot to pop in the second part of their career, for example... the concept of pop during that time was quite different from today’s... musically, maybe the Red Hot were more popular than Nirvana... but BSSM has gone down in history because it was innovative... regarding the pretentious voice, I agree with you... take Linkin Park, for example... on first listen, the voice might seem angry... but in reality, it’s amusing... however, Cobain seems sincere to me... you can tell he’s serious... in fact, I rarely found Territorial Pissings live to be that angry... just like Lithium...

@dedoluz...I know someone in Bra and I also know the city...anyway, it's true that I find it nice...but it's dead...console yourself thinking that (if you like Marlene) it’s the city of Cristiano Godano (as far as I know)...but think about Moretta (I don’t know if you know it) which is even worse...@there...almost all my maternal relatives are from a fraction that is attached to Merula...it's a good hub for musicians...I would have never imagined that there was someone living so close to me...it seems like they all come from the south...

We're not on the same page... I share little to nothing... ok... Nevermind isn't the best album by Nirvana... ok... Bleach is much better... ok... the mixing isn't suitable for them... but it's definitely a great album... Smells Like Teen Spirit is a great song... and from what I've heard on various live bootlegs, it sounds pretty flat to me... in the screams, Kurt seems to spit his soul out... not to mention some whiny voice!... Come as You Are I find fantastic... simply genius... Polly is beautiful too... and if Kurt isn't angry in Territorial Pissings, then where is he, excuse me?... we agree that Something in the Way is beautiful... but to say it's the most punk moment seems risky to me... another thing... and don't take it personally... you seem rather superficial as a listener if you don't care about the lyrics... since it's precisely from this album that they became one of Nirvana's strong points... at least personally, to understand a band, I translate the lyrics... I repeat... I'm not criticizing you for going against the tide or for not thinking exactly like me... but because in my opinion, you haven't found very convincing arguments to support your opinion...

@dedoluz… I really like Cuneo… you can get around well and it’s livable… plus I’ve been there many times and I don’t find it that dead… at least on Saturday night… then it’s a tradition to be tired of your own city… maybe because you know it so well that there are no more surprises… anyway, I’m dying of envy…

Wow, what a beautiful place... frankly, I go to Turin almost every Sunday... living there doesn’t inspire me much... I would prefer a place like Cuneo... quiet but at the same time not dead like Moretta...

@mien no man...to tell you the truth, I don't really know southern Italy that well...I've been to Puglia...Sicily, and Basilicata...all for vacation...I have to say that in certain cases (big cities) there are people complaining...but they do little to change that situation...in other places...like the small towns...I've noticed that workers...especially the young ones are trying to study and make a place for themselves...well...that can only make me happy...my previous post was more of a rant about a large part of my province...who are convinced that Italy is a shitty country just because in the south they lounge around while here we work...and this, in my opinion, is mental closure and a symbol of ignorance...

@there... are you Piedmontese too?... anyway, I only go to school in Carignano... I hardly know anyone... it's well known that most club-goers are rich kids... since they wear nothing that isn't designer... they are incredibly materialistic...
