Satyricon Intermezzo II
Voto:
But no, come on, it's well written, maybe a bit sparse, but sometimes we all write illegible and incredibly long ramblings that, instead of reading smooth and clean things, make our stomachs churn. Good job, the Satyricon of this mini album, however, not so much...
Daylight Dies Dismantling Devotion
Voto:
Great job. A band of excellent Doom that knows exactly where it wants to go. They may not be the champions of this genre, perhaps a bit too verbose, but still appreciable.
Disillusion Back To Times of Splendor

Alright, but for those who don’t know them, your review certainly won’t be inspiring. And for crying out loud, put in a little effort! This is a superb band, they deserve more than just a couple of flimsy lines, for Odin!
Lacrimas Profundere Memorandum
Voto:
I listened to the album and it's not bad at all, always teetering between grim and powerful disasters, albeit thoughtful and intimate. I give it a three only because I don't agree at all with your statement that the most heartfelt gothic of T.o.T is that of Aegis: damn, what were the band's early albums then?
Katatonia The Great Cold Distance
Voto:
I also waited a long time to comment on it, and my judgment is, unlike my friend Novheim, decidedly positive.
A fantastic album, with depressed and captivating atmospheres, albeit not overly aggressive, but as we know, the Katatonia have now crossed the lines of genres and are building one of their own.
A hosanna to them, then, and compliments to you, Fidia, although you could have spared us all those references to Tool, but that's just my humble opinion.
Katatonia The Great Cold Distance

I don't know if Katatonia play Gothic or not, and I'm not even sure what the differences and distinctive points of the genre are, but, excuse me, this album literally drives me crazy. I liked the review, but it's a bit superficial, and I'm giving you three stars only because you didn't mention "Follower" and "In the White," two exceptional tracks, perhaps a bit more than the rest of the songs.
Dark Lunacy Devoid
Voto:
Dear Norvheim, since I have always considered (and still do) the Dark Lunacy to be immense and incredibly talented, I’m giving you a solid five for the review because it’s really well done, and also because you highlighted the song I like the most from the album, which is "Dolls". As for the album itself... well, I love history, especially if it’s modern and contemporary, and I also love Death Metal, so you see where this goes...
P.S.: In my opinion, their "The diarist" was the album of the year for 2006, only slightly challenged, and even though it's a different genre, by Katatonia. Long live the Lunacy!!!

I won't say anything else except that reading this review is a sublime pleasure. Well done, you truly deserve the 5, and in fact, I’m going to read some of your previous reviews now...

I mean? I don't quite understand your thoughts on this...

Dear Sir, you possess the merit of expressing yourself in a clear and comprehensible manner to everyone (not just to industry insiders). Although the proposal you wrote isn't at all aligned with my pathetic tastes, it deserves praise because so many, too many bands, despite offering something exceptional, have never achieved the glory and fame they deserved, unlike many others that, instead, were crafted in a boardroom solely to sell truckloads of records, have faded into oblivion in the time it takes for an eclipse to occur.
So, congratulations again, especially since navigating the grindcore jungle is by no means simple...
