I detest this type of reviews. They make metalheads seem, even if jokingly, like sloppy and brainless people who can’t even connect a subjunctive with a noun.
That’s why I rate the review, which, by the way, as someone has already written above, makes no sense whatsoever, and also to the ImpNaz, whose nonsense I've always appreciated.

Well done, Death. To be honest, I really liked the review, especially because it speaks about an intelligent band that, as you rightly pointed out, has suffered unjustly from the rivalry of other more renowned bands, but not necessarily more valid: Dissection first and foremost. A shout-out to you, then, and to these Dawn as well...

I intended to write this review myself, but as it turns out: your description is complete and thorough, for a genre that drives me crazy. Well done then. Very good. The album has evocative atmospheres that I've only managed to find with Ulver, and this is a great merit.
Pantera Vulgar Display Of Power

I really like the album, but from the way you reviewed it, I think I'm going to like it less, if it conveyed to you what you wrote and what can be read between the lines. It's too convenient, as Pantera have always done, to hide behind easy nihilism, and today, after the passing of their guitarist, to live off it, miserably coasting, and I say this without fear of being attacked by all those who, like you, dear reviewer, consider him the "best guitarist in the world" (but when has that ever been???). You could also do without the triumphalist and sensationalist tones typical of a Sunday magazine: people would still read you even if you didn't describe every album as a masterpiece; instead, sometimes, why don't you roll up your sleeves and write sensible things without trying to overdo it? (maybe even rereading them, grammar is not an opinion).
Moonsorrow Verisäkeet

The opening sentence of the review was included to convey the idea properly, not to denigrate any band (by the way: I literally go crazy for Amon Amarth and especially Borknagar, just read my reviews about them), and I conclude with the usual phrase: "tutti i gusti son gusti."
Anyway, regarding Moonsorrow, I believe their charm comes precisely from the fact that they draw heavily from Black Metal, unlike many others, and this is hardly a drawback, quite the opposite! I think that good Viking is really an expression of Black Metal and not Death, but that’s just a statement.
As for Death: I’m glad you read my thoughts on my Blog; if you have a chance, take a look at my MySpace profile, it’s the same as my nickname, of course all together and in lowercase.

I would like you to explain to me why this review, which is not really a review since it says little, poorly, and nothing about the album, should be useful to anyone wanting to know about ToT.
Couldn't you have posted a comment on the complete and honest review that Fjelltronen had already made?
Was that too much to ask?

I don't vote for the album because I haven't listened to it, and to be honest, I had never heard of this "one-man-band," but if I'm lucky, I might find something. A shout out to you, then, Death...
By the way, do you have a profile on myspace by any chance? If so, would you give me your link, so maybe I'll add you to mine?
Hugs,

Very well done. "Eld" is a true giant of the Viking genre, and ignoring it, as many, even admirers of the genre would like to do, is a genuine sacrilege. Congratulations again. I would love to read a hundred reviews like this.

Tepes, dear friend, are you feeling alright?
Where have your dry and all-encompassing reviews gone? What is this kind of unreadable parody-meatball unworthy of you?
In my opinion, it’s a sign: Tepes writes such things and Debaser gets jammed (maybe someone, endowed with a spirit of mercy, can explain to us what the hell is happening).
