I listen mostly to women, as you say, it's a matter of taste. Anyway, I don't think the 883 ruined many minds in the 90s, just as Garbo didn't in the 80s and so on back to Orietta Berti... the 883 were there, but they didn't stop either you or me from listening to better music, just as Finley don't stop it now! (At least we agree on that...)

Then it's obvious that the album doesn't deserve a 5! That's a rating I gave because I felt the criteria being used was incorrect, that's all...

You're right thinkforyourself, when I was 15 I listened to the beginnings of Björk and Tori Amos, but there are also those who aren’t like that, you know? If someone has the desire to listen to "cultured" music, they seek it out and find it without much trouble. In the meantime, the majority of kids want silly little songs (I'll give you that because it’s the truth!) suitable for their desire to be silly. I find nothing wrong with that and I believe it’s a type of music that has every right to exist. The fact that it’s shoved in heavy rotation on the radio, however, is another matter for discussion. I'm saying that if the 4 kids playing for the girls are making music, it’s certainly not because they have something to express, but just to sell a ton of records. Applying the same criteria of judgment to them as is applied to real music frankly seems inadequate to me, that’s all!
