I don't think I wrote that it's a transcendent record... the ratings and judgments I've given are to be ascribed to a record that should be considered an example of a specific musical genre. In '83, with the perspective of a commercial judgment that could now be applied to Anastacia or who knows who, this is an important record. Which doesn't necessarily mean important music. 14 years, alright... but here's a piece of advice: beyond the fact that everyone knows this song, trying to convey more about how it sounds musically could be a good idea for future reviews. A review should also describe the music, I believe... anyway, I know I'm going against the tide, but I’m not very convinced by this song... I've always found it a bit bland, both in terms of the music and the lyrics. A bit overrated, for sure not Lennon’s best piece!

Come on, you're really obsessed with this post-rock! But excuse me, who said this is the era of post-rock? Where is it written? You know there are still people spending a fortune to go to La Scala's opening night? And there are others capable of making music using only a PC... some choose just the guitar, some just the voice, while others get together and make rock, post or not...
