Damn, am I the only one who finds this album boring? I preferred other works by APP compared to this one, which I remember as full of unnecessary fluff. In terms of sonic richness, it feels a bit flat to me, and the sound doesn’t seem modern; in fact, I find it a bit outdated. Well, you know... de gustibus... anyway, if anyone is interested, I have a copy on vinyl (great condition) that I’m selling to the highest bidder. Trades are considered. Bye.

Hi lindaronstadt, I don’t know if it's a masterpiece. I just know that after so much time I still listen to it every now and then, and that doesn’t happen often. It must mean something… Hi :)

Go ahead, donjunio, I agree with Gabi. Usually, I prefer to review newer albums (but I haven't seen much that's truly interesting in the last few weeks), so Paris Texas wasn't on my agenda. I'll happily read your review and in the meantime, I'll enjoy the film once again. Bye :)

Nick, you're right, "I'll take care of you" is an out-of-this-world album, beautiful; I may have listened to "Scraps at midnight" more, but this one - well-reviewed, no doubt - has definitely played quite a bit on my player.

Very interesting proposal, I didn't know anything about it, so I went online to gather more information, discovering that Kenny Wheeler is also involved in this work; that's enough for me to go seek it out.

But between various collaborations and his projects, how many records has this man recorded? One a day? :)
