I have a couple of records including "come on in" where blues blends with uncertain samples. His guitar has a great sound.

It's true, there are some similarities, especially when explaining the use of the adjective "reassuring." Well, this one by Mr_Iko was written about a year before Livecity's. Mr_Iko, it seems you were an inspiration. Hello!

Rankings often make no sense, and in these cases making a hierarchy is madness. As for the importance that HenyPurcell brings, I find the reading shareable; after all, it’s also in these terms that I wanted (I hoped to...) talk about op 111 back then. I mentioned Vlad precisely to gather opinions like this and try to understand better, thx.
Lou Reed Ecstasy

After attending one of his concerts where he performed some tracks from this album, I have to admit that I reevaluated Ecstasy, which I initially listened to somewhat superficially. It’s certainly not a masterpiece, and in his career, there are other records that matter, but given the times, considering what’s on offer, and also reflecting on how one can degrade oneself after years of music, then (maybe, just maybe) the good Lou hasn’t aged poorly, and the subsequent "The Raven" ultimately confirms this. Three and a half stars for the album and the review.

@saramacbain: thank you, I hope the reading leads you to listen to the album; @tinybanks: always half full, and if it’s not cannonau, a cagnulari or a carignano or, why not, a chianti will do just fine :) @donjunio: thanks to you, I hope to find at least five minutes for the samples. Bye
