As usual, rereading a review after listening to the album is a whole different experience. It was an initially tough and exhausting listen for my delicate ears :). The first few times I tried to listen to it, it left me dazed, except for the opening track “The Death ..” (magnificent repeat repeat !!!!!) and “You’ll never get to me” (easier and more calming for me). Then, by taking it slowly, I gradually managed to appreciate it fully. Now I’ve been listening to it for three consecutive hours and I must say it has really hooked me :)) especially "Blood on your hands". It’s clear that even ears need training. Thx

When you pass by ss ..caz.. could you put it in your suitcase for me to listen to? Those 9 minutes of solo are driving me crazy with curiosity. As for the review, I'm not very enthusiastic either, but humax (if I'm not mistaken) is the fourth reviewer proposing jazz in here so 4.

Nice review, Franc. The album, however, didn't excite me that much, but I want to listen to it more calmly and attentively. I didn't know anything about her, except that she is artistically connected to Bardi Johansson from Bang Gang. Thx then.

It seemed a bit different from Norah Jones' 3poundsoflove, on the other hand, the search for $$$ doesn't surprise me; it would surprise me the opposite :) hi

Translating.. I expected (and I got) strong reactions to this review, because I fully realize that Oi Va Voi can be appreciated and quite a lot. But I can't help feeling annoyed when I listen to their music. Maybe it's because when I think of klezmer, Dybbuk by Moni Ovadia comes to mind with its terrifying and splendid lyrics, or maybe it's because I can't shake off my personal conception of this music. I absolutely don't contest those who love Oi Va Voi, but to understand me, I ask you to try listening to something else as well. Perhaps you will still say that I'm wrong (just like that friend of mine did), but at least you will fully understand my point of view. Bye.

I don't know funk off, I've seen that they are Italian, anyway they all seem like really nice records, plus I have a particular passion for lagrene; do this, just bite one hand :)

Psycho, this question is for you. You are the Japanese guy on the site, but maybe you’re sleeping right now. I know little to nothing about the Japan flag, but I believe it represents the sun. Maybe the farmers' lunch was like that because of the flag and not the other way around... who knows... But is the Italian flag what it is because of caprese (tomato, mozzarella, and basil)? More mysteries... but what am I saying... how did I end up here? .... help me :D
