The Beatles Let It Be... Naked

I hadn't read this, Carcarlo. If I had seen it earlier, I wouldn't have replied to you in my review. Thinking about it now... what a waste of time. I'm frankly astonished... what a pity. Fosca, let's leave that aside.

When I read those words, I told myself: "Could it be true? Could it be false?" I don't know. What is certain is that Spector produced three solo albums by Lennon. Perhaps Lennon didn't see him as that reviled manipulator that people are talking about everywhere today. In fact, according to some, it was Lennon himself who wanted him as the producer for Let It Be (there's no certainty about this news, which is why in the review I say it was EMI that called Spector). The history, in any case, is not as certain as you say. I wouldn't hold such firm convictions. I have many, many doubts. Also because no one TODAY can actually contradict Macca. But even if it were as you say (which is at least debatable), the story went the way it did, so I believe that let it be dressed is the true Beatles album. This tells me little, considering how beautiful the songs are that I love. This is my opinion. Keep in mind that the naked versions were already known to Beatles fans. It wasn't a total surprise. There are numerous bootlegs on vinyl. After the review, I had the chance to verify that. As for marketing… well, smile if you like, but I don't deny the fact that records are made to be sold, always. However, there’s marketing I like, some I like less, and some I don't like at all. There's a way and a way, if you allow me. I liked this part little. Sorry if I think differently from you. Have a good day.

Peace and love? Allow me at least to be surprised. Dear carcarlo, it’s clear that the review is biased because it expresses an opinion: mine. The comments section exists precisely to allow for the exchange of differing opinions and enrich the debate. You could have done it differently, that’s all. You chose what suits you best evidently. Anyway, my opinions (BIAS) are not pulled out of thin air, believe me. It is by no means certain that the negative judgment on Let It Be was absolutely shared among the Fab Four as you want to imply or as many have written and said during the release of this album (strangely... I suspect malicious intent). The sources are often contradictory. Spector, in Lennon’s view, managed to pull a record out of what was essentially "shit" (Lennon’s words—not mine—referring to the recording sessions).

Brrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr ..... reading Gandhi's name next to those of Stalin and Mussolini sent shivers down my spine, Mr_Iko. Nice review, though. I'll find a way to listen to the CD. Bye!

Lanegan? I'm starting to like you more and more, rocky. Anyway, I assure you that here in Sardinia there are no little shops that deal with underground music like this. Bye
