After Zigghio's poem, reading this review feels strange, this one is beautiful too. Even the comments... I'm increasingly curious.

I finally managed to read it; the length was daunting and maybe you could trim it down a bit, although the spontaneity of the writing and the enthusiasm that comes through really make you want to listen to this album.

Leonard Cohen Songs of Leonard Cohen

Come close to the window, my dear, / I would like to try to read your palm. / I thought I was some kind of gypsy boy / before I let you take me home. / Now farewell, Marianne, it’s time for us to start / laughing and crying and crying and laughing again. // Well, you know I liked living with you / but you made me forget it. / I forgot to pray for the angels / and so the angels forgot to pray for us. / Now farewell, Marianne... // We met when we were almost young / in the heart of the green lilac park. / You clung to me as if I were crucified, / as we crawled in the dark. / Now farewell, Marianne... // All your letters say you’re close to me now, / so why do I feel so lonely? / I’m on a rock and your thin spider web / is tying my ankle to a stone. / Now farewell, Marianne... // For now I need your hidden love / I’m cold as a fresh razor blade. / You left me when I told you I was curious, / I never told you I was brave. / Now farewell, Marianne... // Oh, you are really so pretty / I see you went and changed your name again / just when I climbed the whole side of the mountain, / to wash my eyelids in the rain! / Now farewell, Marianne... //

I reread and notice all my contradictions as proof that this album has confused me more than convinced me :)) better to suspend judgment and it's probably best that Axel wrote the review then

Stolen review :) I was actually thinking of writing it for a while now, not that I lack alternatives. The album is very nice, but then again, I’ve enjoyed the other works of Gomez as well, including In Our Gun (I love the title track). This work isn’t bad, but it leaves me with the impression that something is missing. Well played, nice influences, but it didn’t surprise me, quite the opposite. Maybe in a few months I’ll change my mind, for now I find it an honest, pleasant but not excellent work. Bye

Listened to last night. "An impalpable and ethereal electronic flow, continuous and relentless" this phrase really says it all. You're right, it's ideal music to lose oneself in. The only moment when my electroencephalogram showed signs of life was during the trumpet solos hinted at in double rail, perhaps my favorite track on the CD. Thx.

I started to get to know them thanks to Debaser; I would get this even just for the cover.
