"Last month I watched the DVD of their latest tour. I’ve reevaluated them. They’re not bad, but I can’t get too enthusiastic about them. And maybe I prefer their second work to Parachutes." (and I add) I also don’t find the comparison with the early Radiohead scandalous, maybe excessive, but not far-fetched. Likewise, I don’t think that The Bends is their best work; I still believe that OK Computer is their most beautiful album. But, as usual, these are just opinions and impressions. Bye.

Prejudice is a nasty beast; in fact, even if I had the chance, I would never have listened to this record. If the opportunity arises, I’ll give it a chance. It might end up being terrible, but at least I’ll have a reasoned perspective. The closing of the review is very nice. You can’t make music solely with a "market orientation"; sometimes a bit of courage is needed.

I couldn't resist; as soon as I saw the cover, I picked it up trusting the review and the comments. And I was right to do so. A lovely little record, very charming, it may not be the peak of originality and indeed it leaves the feeling of having been heard before (I also see the inevitable Beatles references), but in its lightness, it glides away pleasantly. With this sun, it's just perfect. Thx
