Secondly: in my posts, I have extensively addressed the issue of the relationship between ethnic music and faber that you raised in a polemical way. If you want to share your thoughts, that's fine; if not, that's okay too. But don’t come up with statements like "I read this." If you want to talk about it, read everything and not just what suits you best.

First of all: since I don't agree with what you've written, I feel free to say so as much as I want; this certainly doesn't prevent grassopher from replying independently if he wants (ecchecazzo djd).

I also find myself thinking "what if ..." every now and then, but I haven't thought about a possible stay of Syd in the PF until now, let's give it a try, bye :)

Yes, I saw Faust IV a little while ago, I had read it before but I didn't remember it. As for the publication, there are no problems. However, make sure to read the "help" on how to write a review, because there are some technical rules to follow (for example, do not write the review in Word, always leave a space after punctuation, write titles in uppercase, etc.). The review won't be judged beforehand, but it will be afterward, I assure you :) Bye (Sorry for the digressions from the review topic ValerioZappa)

At this point, the motto is no longer enough for us; you need to write a review about the Faust, airone :)

Of course, one can search for and find the hair in the egg when talking about Pink Floyd, just as it is true that the PF weren't the only ones to create great music, obviously. I don't know the album you mentioned; thank you for the recommendation (these are the things I enjoy finding on debaser), but I often struggle to grasp the meaning behind these kinds of comparisons. I maintain that every band has its own history and significance. The history of Pink Floyd (extremely simplifying) should be divided into three parts: Barrett, Waters, Gilmour. Of these, the least significant (in terms of ideas) is the third, and it seems we all agree on that. However, the Waters era is not less significant to me than the previous one, and I think it’s unfair to regard albums like The Dark Side and The Wall as little more than rubbish (1/5 is the rating of rubbish). Whether we like them or not, they are historically important albums. Moving on, the fact that the PF had a huge budget to create The Dark… doesn’t seem like a fault to me, but rather a matter of fact. Bye.

So many inputs!! Hooray. Off we go in disorder... I share Kz's perplexity since it's hard for me too not to consider masterpieces like The Wall & The Dark Side. Thanks also to Ste for the news about Waters. The TV version of Shining was a crazy mess, I agree. As for Kubrick's Shining, if you come across it, check out the documentary "making of shining," it's really worth it. Am I forgetting something... mmm Waters yes, yes I also love his solo albums, but you know, the heart wants what it wants :) bye!
