But what can I say? A precise, interesting, intriguing, original review as always. I wish I could say the same about my comment :)

Well, between easy and Valerio, practically everything has already been said. It’s hard not to be repetitive, but it is what it is. Different opinions have been expressed (in various ways, not all acceptable). I also believe that calling Gilmour "one of the greatest musical artists of humanity" is a bit exaggerated; I reserve such rare titles for people like L.W. Beethoven, J.S. Bach, Miles Davis, John Coltrane, Frank Zappa (just to mention different musical personalities, the first that come to mind), while respecting everyone’s freedom to say (and think) what they want, mind you. This P.F. album seems banal, inconsistent, and a bit boring to me, but if you like Maynard, that’s no problem. Best regards.

Well folks, I have to say I really enjoyed this album and I didn't find it difficult to digest at all, quite the opposite. "The Ballad of Jody Frosty," which opens the record, is perhaps the highlight of the album; I agree with djd... it's spine-tingling. For some, it might be blasphemy, but for me, "I Walk Beside Your Love" sounds like a Beatles song (those harmonies), and it's not the only one, to be honest. "Off to Tiki Ti" really entertained me, and I actually felt like I was watching a hobbit dance while listening to it. So thanks for the heads-up, damaskinos. Bye!

Thank you, I quickly read through it and at the moment this passage from "to kill the child" stuck with me: "Take this child and hold him closely / Keep him safe from the holy reign of terror / Take this child and hold him closely / Take this child to the moral high ground / Where he can look down on the bigots and bully boys / Slugging it out in the yard."

But the songs on the site are the same ones you're mentioning, Valerio, "leaving beirut" and "to kill the child." Are you saying these aren't the versions that will be included in Waters' next album? Anyway, I'm listening to "leaving beirut," it doesn't sound bad, although it gives off a sense of "heard it before." But maybe one should read the lyrics to fully appreciate it. Bye

Fourthly ... rereading my previous posts after a few hours, I feel a bit of discomfort with the tone used. I don't like it and I feel it doesn't belong to me, because it's excessive. I could have said the same things while smiling, just pretend that I did. Bye djd
