Laura Pausini Resta In Ascolto
Voto:
As a perfect snob, I must say that Pausini doesn’t interest me, but I have to acknowledge that she has her own success, which I believe she has built intelligently. I think there’s room for her too, and honestly, I believe that many people approach music thanks to artists like her. Then there are those who stop and settle, and others who push further and perhaps end up at Mike Patton. The discussion about qualitative filters is worn out and repetitive; those who want can read the comments on the review of Celine Dion, and I still haven't changed my mind. As for whether to leave or stay on the site, everyone should do as they please, but inviting others to do so, using a euphemism, isn't exactly "nice," in my opinion. Best regards.

Short but effective, it seems like a nice proposal honey - ah sugar sugar... it doesn't really fit, I know, but it came to my mind :) - however, at least you could have included a "more info" link... never mind, here it is, a brief interview Gemma Hayes - INTERVISTA while on the amazon site there are some nice samples (remove the spaces). Anyway, I'll look for something by this singer, bye.

"I believe everything we dream /can come to pass through our union /we can turn the world around /we can turn the earth's revolution / we have the power /People have the power ..." "Singing "People Have The Power" in a world where most people are losing their rights is a contradiction." You're not mistaken because this is precisely the reason to sing it. Because "the people have the power to redeem the work of fools."

Medulla left me with quite a few perplexities; I found it a bit challenging, but to be honest, I couldn't listen to it very well, especially because there are so many albums right now that spark my interest more than this one. I set it aside and will postpone my judgment. Janis's beautiful review is among my recommendations.

Welcome eclipse, this album has already been discussed at length on debaser in other reviews and forums and, if I remember correctly, there are differing opinions ranging from extreme annoyance to total adoration. As far as I'm concerned, I adored this album which I listened to until I was sick of it. One day, during yet another listen, I heard a phrase in Italian in the background; for a moment I thought I had gone crazy, but that phrase was really there. Does anyone remember it? Perhaps it’s not a masterpiece, but I experienced it as such. Bye.

Are you referring to "Hoist That Rag"? It's really beautiful; the other day while listening to it again, I was struck by the sound of Marc Ribot's guitar... a sudden déjà vu. Then I put on his album with "Y Los Cubanos Postizos" and rediscovered an idea of those sounds later transformed in Waits' album. If you come across this Ribot CD, grab it because it's really nice—just be careful not to confuse it with "Muy divertido," which I think is inferior to the other. Cheers!
