It's also worth highlighting the care put into the packaging of the constellation CDs, hi.

Very interesting. I'm not a big fan of compilations, but it's nice to contradict oneself. In this case, I would gladly do it because I really like the bold line of the constellation, which I discovered thanks to debaser. Among the groups you mention, I particularly wanted to highlight the "Black Ox Orkestar" (if I remember correctly, their album is called "Ver tanz"), an album that isn't simple - true - but interesting, which I still haven't fully absorbed despite having had it for a few months. Traditional, acoustic music (double bass, violin, clarinets) that is heartfelt and refers to Eastern Europe, to the roots of klezmer and Sephardic music. A bold and interesting album. If you get a chance, give it a listen.

@ jordan I think you're not entirely wrong in considering this work of Miles as lesser compared to others (as for the albums you mention, nothing to say… indispensable masterpieces), many support this thesis. However, I believe it still deserves a 5 in the history of jazz, for the value it has taken on in the collective imagination, for its genesis, for its being a metaphor for jazz, and for its connection to cinema. It's an album that, because of its history, surpasses its own value. I think it should be part of the minimum collection of any jazz lover. But in the end, these are just slight nuances; it doesn’t make much sense to argue over a four or a five. About the film, when you see it again, let me know what you think. Bye and thanks @ barry, thx for the Malle film suggestion, I haven’t seen it, I will keep it in mind. A hello to Frantz's burp ;) and to the revived pugliamix whom I initially mistook for psycho. Hey, c'mon, give us a hand with this album.

@ k e zzzzzzzzz beautiful photographs, really beautiful, thank you :) if you manage to see the movie on DVD zzzzz let me know; @ psycho about the movie title kappa has already said, regarding jazz... it's so vast, but I believe you would find many records of interest, not just as background music, on the contrary; as for the Miles album you're looking for... nothing comes to mind from your description, but I'll think about it calmly; @ cleo thank you cuin and I'll give you a third suggestion: if you come across it, try to listen to Miles Davis' "kind of blue" which is one of the masterpieces of music and one of my favorite jazz CDs (galliano wasn't at Auchan, a little accident, a little mishap) Bye :)
