Silly, crude, superfluous, not intelligent, completely unfunny and out of place comment. Please just let it go. If it happens again, make the cicadas sing.
Marco Paolini E Mercanti Di Liquore Sputi

An extremely interesting proposal as far as I'm concerned. Marco Paolini is a great actor. With the monologue titled "Il racconto del vajont," he managed to depict the story, keeping the mind glued to the words. The theme was always water. The merchants of liquor have already been mentioned on the site in two reviews by daniele el pueblo (www.debaser.it/recensionidb/ID_248 2). He also touches on the theme of globalization... too much to say. Perhaps to fully appreciate this album, one should see it in the theater; I don't know how well it can translate onto a record.

I reiterate: one of the most beautiful discussions of recent times. You're right, Gabri, looking at this issue from the American perspective, in other words, changing one’s viewpoint, makes things look different. Seeing that cover from the perspective you indicate feels like a stroke of genius, the same goes for the cover of imagine. As for the effectiveness of this operation (it seems to me that caz talks about this), I couldn't say for sure. Perhaps we lack all the necessary information to understand. However, it’s not always necessary to be explicit to send a powerful message. It isn’t always necessary to name names. Think of the communicative strength of Pasolini's intervention in the Corriere della sera in 1974. That "I know the names of those responsible for what is called a coup": a monumental statement. Anyway, I personally believe that Kerry lost for a series of reasons. Among these is the one you highlight. However, I think the strongest reason for his defeat lies in America’s fear, which needs to wave a boogeyman at the world. Bush, with his background and the issues raised during the campaign, certainly responded better to that fear. This is my impression from Italy; in fact, it would be interesting to read the opinion of someone who knows the context directly.

I see that you understood little, but it may also be my fault. On the topic you raised, I preferred to glide by, as I felt it was futile. However, I could ask you the same question: if he were still alive, would you judge this album the same way? The insinuation, however, would be a bit gratuitous, as is yours, after all. If you knew me even a little, you wouldn't have had that doubt. Mr_Iko knows me better, as you can see a little higher up. Anyway, it would have been interesting to read a comment that also took into account others' tastes, but perhaps that would have been asking too much. It's often a rare commodity, because some are amazed at the discrepancy between their judgment and that of others, when it is the most normal thing in the world and perhaps the very reason that drives this site. To the other anonymous, a huge thank you for the beautiful quote from the nostalgic Livornese :)))

Regarding an interesting read, it's the book by Travaglio Gomez on the story of mani pulite... oh, my apologies, I forgot that certain readings are prohibited... never mind.

"About the amnesty that the communist comrades voted for in 1989 to abolish their crimes concerning illegal funding to political parties"
Regarding the amnesty, I'll respond to you. You are perfectly right in thinking of that legislative intervention as a clean slate. I agree. However, the political system built by the PSI during the era of "Milano da bere" was not solely aimed at financing parties but also at personal enrichment. This is the substantial difference. Not that illegal funding is acceptable, but it had politically understandable explanations. Less understandable is the councilor who has the nickname "mr 10%." Mario Chiesa was not taking money in the halls of the Pio Albergo Trivulzio to finance the Socialist Party; I hope you don't have that conviction.
