The beauty of this album was in the arrangements; several songs by Dire Straits were presented in a new form, enriched by long introductions (Romeo & Juliet), Alan Clark's keyboards, and lengthy guitar and saxophone solos. The instrumental piece that closes the concert, "Local Hero," is taken from the soundtrack composed by Knopfler for the film of the same name, a venture that Knopfler pursued during that time with subsequent works like Cal, Last Exit to Brooklyn, The Princess Bride, and Wag the Dog. Welcome noname.

Welcome Vandiemen, I haven't listened to this album in ages, but I remember it well. It was one of the first CDs I got, I played it a lot and at the time I even liked it. However, it never drove me crazy. Then I lost it in a poker game and never reclaimed it.
