I'm listening to it again now after a century. Grass didn't say a word about "Canzone per l'estate"? Why not? I remember that when this album was released, De Gregori said, "now I feel it more mine," and listening to it, you can understand why.

From the listening, I couldn't tell Kz, you're the expert on musical instruments ;) and the booklet isn't helpful, as it only shows photographs of the musicians and no other indications. However, in one photo, Shannon can be seen at a piano that might be the one you're talking about. Bye!
Patricia Barber Live: A Fortnight In France

I had forgotten about this review :) But I don’t know about Frantz. Barber has been recording for a few years now, before the Norah Jones phenomenon developed. However, in the sense you're mentioning, it has been talked about in relation to Madaleine Peyroux, who disappeared from the scene after releasing her first album (eight years ago, I believe). Some have written that the release of albums like these stems from the interest in jazz singers sparked by the Norah Jones phenomenon (who, for me, is not exactly a jazz singer). If this is the case, it’s a good thing, even though over the years there have been other significant female artists, like Cassandra Wilson, for example. I'm glad you liked Frantz; if you have the chance, listen to Verse, her latest studio album, because it’s really beautiful. Hi everyone.

I listened to an mp3 on the official site you mentioned. I'm not a big fan of his voice and I don't see much of a comparison with Buckley. Maybe I'm just not in the mood... Of the previous albums, I liked rose a bit more than infinite love songs, however, for what it's worth (not much, I know), both had a much nicer cover than this one. Bye
