I don’t know josi, there are records that, regardless of the genre, sound constructed, lacking sincerity, they don't flow. Others, on the other hand, flow too much and become trivial. For example, I was partially disappointed by listening to the latest from Giant Sand. It’s not bad, but... it’s too 'easy' for them. It’s always a matter of balance, often precarious, I believe, always debatable anyway. This record has this quality, while it lacks others that perhaps our own has yet to mature. Nonetheless, it's a pleasant record, well made. In any case, tonight I’ll send you a couple of samples to see if it might be to your liking, bye :)

Your average film rating is 0.1%, damn it!! But watching movies on TV doesn’t count, because then my film rating goes down as well. That's why it’s much better to watch a film in the cinema (also because otherwise you lose the desire to do anything else). For example, A Clockwork Orange seen on the big screen has a completely different effect. It should be even more so for Barry Lyndon (how much I wish I didn’t have to use the conditional) given the grandeur of the paintings. As for comedies... damn it! You're missing out on half of cinema!! :)

No no look at it because it’s a funny comedy, which develops from an original idea that I won’t tell you about ;)
Joe Henry Kindness Of The World

Another Joe Henry enthusiast :) I started to get to know him by going backward from Scar, which I still consider one of the most beautiful albums of the last ten years. I haven't listened to this one yet, but I have to say I'm having a hard time finding Joe Henry CDs. For example, it took me months to find "Short Man's Room," and this has been on my list for ages. I wait.

The Blue Nile is a bit tiring for me, to tell the truth, but I won’t back down. I had read great things about this job elsewhere, and the fact that you also confirm it pushes me to make yet another purchase. Sign.
Francesco De Gregori Amore Nel Pomeriggio

I don't know what to say about "il cuoco di salò," but regarding "canzone per l'estate," it cannot be said that it was born solely from De André's mind. It is well known that the song arose from the collaboration between De André and De Gregori for the album vol. 8. The record also included "Le storie di ieri" by De Gregori, which his record label at the time initially refused to publish. I am partially in agreement with the idea that De Gregori is experiencing a decline in inspiration. In other words, it is true that De Gregori has released too much in recent years (too many live performances all the same, many really bad, but I've never liked De Gregori live), but I wouldn't consider Bufalo Bill his last quality work. Since 1976, he has released other interesting albums like Scacchi e Tarocchi, Miramare, and the underrated Terra di nessuno. Even the fischio de vapore was an interesting endeavor. Bye.

Charm even in the splendid cover (wonderful is also that of Shleep), I somewhat relate to Janis's words because it's not easy for me to write about these records; I always feel like I've never accurately translated what the music conveys. The review was already there, but it doesn't hurt to see another version.
Miles Davis Bitches Brew

This record is an absolute in music, a turning point, a disruptive wave. It changed music, but it wasn't the first time Miles made a shift. Even with Kind Of Blue, there was a break (different from this one) with the past. A while ago, I read a nice anecdote about Miles. He was a guest at a reception at the White House, and while sipping his drink, a lady approached him, not knowing who he was, and asked, "Excuse me, but what gives you the right to be here tonight?" and Miles replied, "Well, ma'am... I changed music." The beauty of it is that it was true!

It's true, Barry, that doesn't change the fact that Zzzzzz is right when he points out that the album grows with each listen. Not excellent, but interesting. Bye
