One of the few vinyl records I've kept more for the memories attached to it than for the music. Now I don't feel like listening to it anymore, except maybe "I want to see you dance," but even that, to be honest. I remember that period and this record perfectly. It came after the success of "La Voce del Padrone" but it was different, and it's true what Sylvian says; many were disappointed, expecting another album. I remember the litany of "ho faaaaaaattoooooo scalo a Grado, la domeeeeeeeeenica di Pasqua..."; I was a kid and didn't even know what the "dervisches tourners" were that spin, either on their spines or to the sound of the ankle bells of the Katakali." Then, years later, I remember David Riondino mocking Battiato for these mystical records, full of philosophy, metaphors, images, essentially... ugly (Riondino's words, ambassador...). Regards.

The phrase "women understand nothing about electronic music" seems to me to be nothing but nonsense, not only for its tone but also for its essence of foolish generalization. But you know Jam, it’s not bad, but it seemed to me like a bit of an odd record in the series in the fishtank because the Bhp dominate, while I expected a greater mix of sounds. Is it worth it? That hasn't been reviewed either, if you want to consider it. @ easy the album as Jam says is really worth it, but it is certainly not a spring listen. Bye

Oh no, come on, "La Melanzana"? You can't write the title of one of the absolute masterpieces of folk made in Tattari Manna like that: "La Mirinzana." And what the hell... I can overlook the lack of depth on "I Sindaci," especially the one from Aglientu, which is dangerous, unless you want him to give you some nice blonde highlights. Fora di gabbu, damn it!
