Fabrizio De André Anime Salve

This space seems right to point out a beautiful reading dedicated to De André, which is a collection of essays published back in 1997 titled "Accordi eretici," featuring a lovely preface by Mario Luzi. Bye.
John McLaughlin, Jaco Pastorius & Tony Williams Trio Of Doom

Well done, ghemison, I would have reviewed this CD myself as it deserves to be highlighted for the value of the testimony of that evening, as you rightly pointed out. I didn't know about Pastorius's "bastardata," honestly it made me laugh. Anyway, I agree that it was a good thing. However, I did know about some "political" backstories regarding the performance in Cuba; the bridge in question with Cuba wasn't exactly accepted by everyone and could be seen as a provocation, it would be interesting to delve into this aspect. Bye
Anouar Brahem Concerto @ S'Ortu Mannu - Villamassargia 11.08.07

Damn, Sfascia, I really envy you for this evening. I love Brahem's music, the charm of the oud, and the ability to connect with other sounds. Besides the already mentioned "les pas du chat noir," there's also the wonderful "thimar" with John Surman, still one of my favorite albums today. I knew about the concert and even considered going, but I was really too far away... what a shame.

A nice little disc. The right adjectives, adjectives that could also be used for other works by Keren Ann, who is curiously a woman not at all ethereal but very pragmatic from what I’ve read.

The previous one reviewed by Frantz I liked, but I haven't listened to this one yet. It seems interesting, although from the reading, I have the impression that it relies too much on a kind of worn-out "political folklore" that could use a bit of refreshing.
