Bryan Adams 18 'Til I Die

Welcome Mercury, but don't be too surprised by any absences. Bryan Adams is just one among many and perhaps not even the main one, no matter how much one might discuss it. Personally, I find the Canadian hard to stomach. Bye.

Thank you all for your comments and always valuable contributions to this open proposal. I'm sorry, Enk and K, for the "theft" of the review; had I known about these intentions, I would have gladly stepped aside. The important thing was that this album was present here as a proposal because I believe it deserves it. You know... a few days ago, a dear friend lent me this CD, simply saying: "Listen to it!" Nothing more. I did, and then I thought it might appeal to many here; in short, I just wanted to say: "Listen to it." I discover that some have already done so, and I'm glad to find myself in their words and feelings. Have a good evening, everyone :)

I have this vinyl too, but the cover was different ... actually, it wasn't there at all. But Claudio with Dire Straits, we are really almost at the end now, and then? What will you review next? Ah, the album is a bit weak for me (If I Had You I honestly remember as quite ugly) and the songs might not be among the best things they've done, maybe that's the only reason they've been excluded from the official albums. Bye :)
Keith Jarrett Händel: Suites for Keyboard

I must say that I feel closer to Zigghio's judgment. Let it be understood that this is still a great album, but all in all, I too sometimes have some doubts regarding these incursions by Jarrett. If I remember correctly, we've talked around here—I'm not sure if with you or others—about Bach's harpsichord and viola da gamba sonatas recorded by Jarrett. Well, I prefer Savall's interpretation, and in my opinion, the latter is a great example of a philological interpreter who is far from dusty. A mention of Gould should be made, who, let's remember, was as much loved as he was criticized for the "eccentricity"—if one can say so—of his interpretations. Perhaps it's true that they are not philologically correct... but damn, are they beautiful, John... As for great piano interpreters—since almost all of them are now represented—I would also like to remember Arturo Benedetti Michelangeli.

see previous review... but Michele, you write well and make interesting proposals, but in my opinion, reviewing in blocks so close together (Van de Sfroos first and Dylan next) complicates any potential discussion. Bye

Thank you for the suggestion, Antonio. I’ll download it and listen over the weekend, even though reading it made me think that this music might not interest me. But a download doesn’t cost anything. Bye.
