I Barritas Sardegna Mia
Voto:
Ah the legendary Barritas, Urgu's photo is hilarious! I've played hundreds of poker games listening to this vinyl; it was the only one in that dark basement where we’d wager our weekly allowance with the usual friends. A fun record, certainly a bit kitsch, but five stars are very generous of you :) and thanks for the dedication. Bye!
Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart Concerti per corno

Thank you to those who read with enjoyment, or rather eizarg :) I wanted to add a postscript to the review. Some time ago, we discussed how often, when talking about classical music, there is a risk of adopting an attitude of sacrality. This reflection seemed sensible to me, and I pondered it for a while; then when I read these words from Mozart, they seemed perfect to dust off classical music and see that, after all, even Mozart was quite a rascal. Anyway, that's why I was intrigued to talk about this music that arises in such a playful and fun way; if not everyone enjoys this music and the idea of discussing it, well... c'est la vie. Bye :)

The Dave Brubeck Quartet Time Out

For the comments, maybe if you include a sample of Take Five, many listening to it will say, "Oh ... but this is Dave Brubeck, I know this!" :)
Astor Piazzolla Tango: Zero Hour
Voto:
... indeed, the word rock, while contextualized, seems out of place to me, but I also wonder how much the idea of experimental jazz can be understood. Perhaps I'm just unclear about what you're referring to, maybe the meetings with Jerry Mulligan? Piazzolla was certainly not a stranger to jazz, that's true. An indispensable, intense, and wonderful disc. If I remember correctly, it was released by Nonesuch in a very well-crafted edition; it's better to have this CD than just files. Beautiful the quotation from Borges by Precisino in the comments.

After "excuses for travellers," I sensed a declining sense of repetitiveness in their music; perhaps this listening will make me appreciate them once more, who knows...

I didn't quite relate to your review, but it's a suggestive point of view. I listened to the album only once on Saturday night; I remembered your mention. Not bad, interesting, but I need to give it a better listen. Thx
