I stopped at "True Carnage," I think that might be enough.

Welcome back! That's exactly why I chose this review; since I regard you as the best Death Metal reviewer, I picked this album precisely to avoid stepping on anyone's toes or spoiling some albums still waiting for a review (I'm not exactly a deathster myself). It might sound strange, but I was hoping you would make a comment. What do you think about Disincarnate? Do you want to give it a try? I'd really be happy :DDD

I admit that "Personal Energy" from "Spheres" is for me the best song by Pestilence, the one that brings emotions to my heart (the bells, the synth guitars, the solos and the build-up after the solos—part of my life), but "Consuming Impulse," strictly on vinyl, is the soundtrack of my hospital years, especially "The Trauma": I listen to the song and recreate new lyrics with my hospital misadventures. Then you have "Echoes of Death" with the intertwining riffs and "Deify Thy Master" (I’m not sure if I spelled the title right) with the screaming wah-wah and the right voice... go Martin... go! "Dehydrated" never gets tiring; you can listen to it 100 times in a row and let out the final scream aaaaahhh!! This is what I define as Death Metal. :DDDD

Ouch! You caught me off guard. I know it's a great album, but I’ve never....wait...done it! It's already downloading. I'm going to take a look at "Under A Thrash Attack," but if you're recommending it, that's already a guarantee. One curiosity: usually, I find it hard to smile, but in one of your comments a few months ago, you said something like << By the way, I haven't seen thetrooper around for a while; he's not preparing a batch of 10 reviews to send all at once, is he...? >>. You have no idea how much I laughed, and maybe to you it seems like a simple or normal thing to say, but it’s a great joke. Then another curiosity: "Heaven's Gate," but what was Cimino trying to do with that film? It was a commercial and economic disaster, yet that film holds an air of mystery for me; I don’t know why...

It is certainly the most ironic review I've written. Everything was thought of here, from the cover to the photos, from shouting from the rooftops that Brian was the producer and that there was the new Stewe Swanson. All good, but what about the compositions? Then we should also take a swing at the Lowbrow, but perhaps it's better to go and listen again to "Consuming Impulse" or "Individual Thought Patterns" and cleanse ourselves with the great compositional variety of those good old days.

Ah, sorry Bartle, the Imagika are connected to the Bay Area sound and released about 5 albums between 1997 and 2006 (I'm going from memory), they are basically followers of our dear old Bay Area bands, but they came out a bit later, children of the '90s then. I still have to explore them fully, I admit. I'm glad to find you here, it's the first exchange of ideas we have on a review, in real time, since the days of Dark Angel.

Don't worry, they are slow and predictable, I already have "Whorship" and there's a great idea that makes my cabeza spin, but then the singer just can't put the salt on the thrash egg. Then I downloaded the latest one and it's slow and lacks fast tracks, but it has great sound... well, better to focus on Powermad. Take what I say with a grain of salt, but it should be checked out.
