AA.VV. Live Heineken Jammin' Festival 14/06/07

Yes, nice words, but this is the Heineken Jammin' Festival on June 14th, do you know what I'm saying? Not 14-15-16-17, just 14. And the music was definitely good. All good, blue connection? Did you get the message? All okay? Anger passed? Good. Bye.
Fluxus Vita In Un Pacifico Mondo Nuovo

Oh yes, they screwed me over, Andre told me just yesterday... damn, I had been preparing it for four days :'( Next time maybe give me a heads up ;-). Anyway, very good album, rough and pissed off just enough, even if maybe a bit immature. Best track: "O.C.". And if it has to be a Fluxus epidemic, let it be a Fluxus epidemic! Review a bit struggling on some points, not very fluid (next time, avoid describing every aspect of the tracks), but written in a more correct Italian than usual. Braf :-)

Hetzer, based on which obscure, highly personal analytical reasoning do you give a meager 1 to this concert? Let's talk to me.

Oh my God, did I write Papa Roach?!? Sorry for the mistake... it was obvious that I meant Domine... schiusmi! (But what was I thinking?)

Review that I partially disagree with. The Maiden relied too little on the classics (but what a crowd surge when they started with "Wrathchild" and "The Trooper", both played really well), serving up the -scandalous- tracks from their latest works. I would give excellence to the Slayer: I literally destroyed my shoulder when "Angel Of Death" kicked in, it was monstrous, King has gained weight in a scandalous way, not even a four-door wardrobe, Araya looks like a bum, Lombardo is faster than a Lamborghini on the highway... memorable, simply memorable, from alpha to omega, incredibly talented and engaging. The Mastodon were also amazing (only 7.5? Have you even heard them?), "The Wolf Is Loose" was played fantastically, adrenaline-fueled and snappy, without pauses. Good performances from Papa Roach and Stone Sour: even though they’re not my genre, they rocked enough (never like Slayer and Mastodon, though! :-D). The bassist's daughter from Maiden made me cringe. Overall score: 8.5, rounded up to 9 for that wonderful scream in "Angel Of Death", which alone was worth all 45 euros of the ticket...

Strangely (and I emphasize the strangely, I've always hated Manson) I didn't mind this.

Does the singer still have the apoplectic diarrhea that he had in the previous album?
Max Pezzali Time Out

What a charming humorist! Pezzali, now that I look at him more closely, vaguely resembles Leonarda Cianciulli, doesn’t he?!?!?

Bartle, chapeau, you are truly a master, spiritually, morally, and materially. An exceptionally great review in my opinion, though a few rhetorical images do sound a bit excessive (for example, I quote <...black and solemn like the march of an electric funeral...>), but after all, who cares! Of all the people who could criticize you, I'm certainly among the last. And so, this also ends up in the recommended list. P.S. From Spirit Caravan, I only have "Sea Legs"... thanks for the connection on Soulseek, Festwca! :-D
