In my opinion, the Valentyne suite collects all the tracks that someone mentioned above, with the exception of Supper's Ready, where Gabriel's interpretation and lyrics make a difference... but don't come telling me that Tarkus is a masterpiece; it's an enjoyable track and nothing more, with a truly embarrassing lyric (I know it doesn't matter, but up to a certain point).

I don't quite agree that the only worthwhile album by the Pink Floyd is "The Piper..."... I'd like to know the reasons for such a drastic judgment... anyway, it doesn't seem to me that the VU were much more insane than any band of the time; rather, they were the most apolitical.
