There’s no point in repeating myself about the review; after all, in certain cases, the author is a guarantee. As for Paolo Fresu and Italian jazz in general, I must say it’s a territory I still have yet to explore almost entirely. From what I’ve read, it should be a delightful discovery.

For Gascio: Onda Rock Redirect Go back to this link and you will find an asterisk that refers to a note at the very bottom of the biography. It states that for the contributions of L.L., debaser is thanked. L.L. and Grasshopper are the same person, and I take this opportunity to inform you that I, L.L., also write for www.musicmap.it, where you will find other reviews identical to mine, since they are indeed mine. The misunderstanding arises from the fact that on ondarock they placed the note at the bottom, almost invisible, and moreover, on the link to reach Fossati's biography, a certain V.B. is mentioned who has nothing to do with me, as I am L.L. also known as Grasshopper. (the only thing I had to copy is this notice)

Thanks to Sir Poldo (by the way, a really nice nickname) for promptly restoring the truth. I take this opportunity to point out that some of my reviews are also present on www.musicmap.it, just in case some "linnet-eyed" person like Gascio suddenly claims it's plagiarism. It's me again: Ondarock asked for those on Fossati, Musicmap for all except the classical music ones.

This one had slipped by me... and to think it talks about an album I've had my eye on for a while but haven't decided to buy. At this point, what am I waiting for?
Giorgio Gaber Dialogo Tra Un Impegnato E Un Non So

This Poletti never ceases to amaze me... two days ago he tells me, making everyone laugh a bit, that Diana Krall is free jazz. Now I find him again with a nice analysis, thorough and convincing, of a fundamental album for Gaber. I think there’s more than one Poletti around. It’s true that here both Gaber and the album itself are viewed from a quite right-wing perspective, but when the arguments are valid, they remain so, and besides, we are talking about an anarchist, and as such, tendentially leftist, but as andy66 excellently points out, certainly not with that uncritical and conformist attitude typical of a certain left, mocked by him repeatedly in various performances, including this one.

For the most refined jazz pianist, a review that is truly up to par. Here’s another gap to fill in my already well-stocked shelf.

Why don't I have this record? It is urgent to take care of it as soon as possible.

And after a review like this, how can I not delve deeper into my very limited knowledge of this author, of whom I only know a few Lieder? It almost becomes a duty, starting precisely with these two works.
