I believe the album was released in November 2008, and only the digital version came out, I think, but I could be wrong. I also really liked Autechre; their music is very unique, I admit. It's not from 2008, but I discovered it thanks to Debaser.

The best album of 2009 for me is "in rainbows," but I repeat my age: 48 years!

I'm very ready to listen to her, in fact I'm doing it and then I'll tell you. I hate fences.

Sorry, Ghemison, do you know how old I am? And you? I imagine the tastes will be different.

@lux, just to show you that I don't think in boxes, I'll go listen to all your reviews, and then if you're interested, I’ll share my opinion. By the way, I have two Porcupine Tree albums, one of them is a double. Maybe in a personal post. Ciao.

So, Lux, given that when the Beatles disbanded I was 10 years old, I can name the tastes that have accompanied me throughout my life. Besides the Beatles, I have enjoyed Genesis, Deep Purple, my second favorite band Led Zeppelin, The Police, Dire Straits, Queen, and more recently U2. Now my favorites are Radiohead and R.E.M.
Oh, I almost forgot The Doors. As you can see, I don't think it's all crap. I listened to Jefferson Airplane but they never really got to me. In short, I like various music genres, and I don't believe that's a limitation. There are many other bands I like, and I also listen to new groups, but for now, I don't find any at the level of past bands. Perhaps the reason the Beatles and other groups still sell well is the answer to many questions. Could it be that the old ones are better than the new?

Are you telling me that "in rainbow" is a disc? Or are the Radiohead (whom I adore) crap too?

@ gemison I don’t have any of the collections you mentioned, records bought this year Radiohead, and REM, Medusa's Spite (which I doubt you know) and three by Jimi Hendrix. Some albums by De André.

Look, those of you who go ahead with barriers and prejudices are actually the ones, in my opinion. None of us, including myself, say that the music you listen to is trash; it's you who claim the opposite, and that's nonsense, like an iceberg. When you say that The Beatles are just a cheap little band, I wasn't talking about sales to glorify The Beatles, since art is not measured by record sales. I was saying what impact the name Beatles still has in the world today. If you can't grasp that, it's not my fault, and don't give me philosophical discussions—this isn't the place for that.
As for tastes, it's clear given our age that we have different ones, but it's not true that I wouldn’t listen to the bands you listen to. I told you, give me the names and I'll listen to them, then I'll give you my opinion if you're interested. What really makes me angry is not respecting other people's ideas and pretending to hold the absolute truth; as for Trota, I won't even respond anymore—it's not worth it.

@trout why don't you join the discussion with arguments, instead of the jokes that only make you laugh? Every comment of yours (I've seen a bit from others too) is just nonsense, never a comment that makes sense! But do as you wish! And "sacerful of secret" is "psidechelia" which even the Floyd have abandoned, have you noticed?
