Just to tell you, Barrett made three songs and then lost his mind, so which posts are you talking about? The Beatles and Led Zeppelin were products of successful commercial operations? But do you know when the Beatles started? 1958... You may not like them, and you have every right not to, but saying they're just manufactured phenomena is utter nonsense. I’ve never been a fan of people like Madonna or the Spice Girls, and among current bands, I only appreciate Radiohead. For everything else, I'd take the Beatles, Genesis, Pink Floyd, Police, Dire Straits, etc., a hundred thousand times over today's groups.

@rock first of all, thank you for the affection. You see, I also agree with you that sometimes sales mean nothing, and the music world is full of people who got lucky hitting the right song. But sometimes the opposite is true as well. I get angry because on debaser I've seen the Beatles and Led Zeppelin being slaughtered; one even labeled "the dark side" as cheesy music. That's why I get pissed off and tell you, seriously, not to make fun of you – I would never do that. Tell me, who do you listen to that could possibly overshadow those who, whether you like it or not, have made music history? The Queen will also remain in history. I like them, I have all their records, but I also like many other artists. For example, I reviewed Medusa Spite, and it was met with general indifference. I think they're a great band from Rome, but no one here even bothered to say, "Oh, I’ll give them a listen." 90% of the music they review here, I don't know, so I can't express a judgment. Warm regards.

Indeed, the Spice Girls lasted 30 years just like Queen. If you compare the Spice Girls to Queen, that's your problem. Sales do not justify the quality of an album, that's for sure, but they do have meaning, and if an album sells, then someone likes it; it's just math. Enlighten us about your listening habits so that we, the plebs, can elevate ourselves.

You're absolutely free to think that way; music is beautiful precisely for this reason. :-)

Reducing Queen to just one song, as you've done, seems really excessive to me, if nothing else. And it pains me to go back to the subject of sales, but you're taking it away from the mouths of the millions of people who bought their records, and the 400,000 at Wembley (a bunch of idiots!).

Ah, I thought it was "Primo Fausto," so it can work too. In fact, "Innuendo" is perhaps their best album, even better than "A Night at the Opera." However, I like this one.

I think they should increase the stars!
And what does it mean? I could like it even more than innuendo; opinions are opinions. You consider Fausto the greatest of all, but many don’t even know him, so what? Always with affection.

The more I get to know you, the more I am convinced that you don’t understand a damn thing about music! :-)
And then myths never fade away!
