Lately I've been feeling a bit flat... so much so that I've come to wish the 2 big businesses would just get the hell out of the way, to facilitate yet another Buzzo transformation-reinvention. "Senile Animal" and "Nude with Boots" are definitely nice, but then they kind of dwindled in an inversely proportional manner to Buzzo's belly. For those wondering to themselves, "Yeah, but what the hell could these Melvins have invented," I respond: 1) You don’t understand a thing, go back to listening to Blind Guardian. 2) They invented the modern cucaracha the bachata & inculata and the paté de fuà grà and fuck the Manowar as well.

I knew it was your review of the garden; now we just have to wait for Nes or Panico (who we hardly see around here anymore) to review the new OM (my favorite from 2012). Anyway, Corny, I listened to the album twice: “Bones of Bird” and “A Thousand Days Before” stand out. As I already said in the playlist, the central/final part seems a bit like "Down on the Upside" vol 2, with the difference that I liked the slow ones there; here, on the other hand, we're between mediocre and barely sufficient. The latest Alice is better than this, but come on, let's give it a passing grade.
