They might interest me precisely because, as you say, "it’s not a progressive metal album." Tool does not do prog-metal; I must have written it a million times. Albums like "Undertow" and "Aenema," and the following ones, cannot be labeled in this genre. It’s like saying that an episode of Forum is a scientific documentary. Best regards.

I have this CD original. It was given to me by a Debaser user whom I haven't seen since the distant 1912. Now I'm 86 years old and I live on a deserted island; maybe it's too late, maybe not. If that user reads this message, let them give themselves a nice round of applause in delight.

But also write about Taxidriver: As The Valley Of Death - A Storm Of Light (Profound Lore) I don’t know, anyway, just in case, I’ll make a note of it.

The best of Lento for me remains "Earthen", which, when compared to this, wins by a considerable margin. I would define them as the "Italian hope of post-metal." Welcome back to Baffo.

A friend of mine saw them live a few years ago. Apicella live gives them a solid 6-0 6-0. Ground of choice.

After 2-3 listens, overall, I prefer the previous "Heavy Rocks" (by the way, they could have changed the title of this one, like "Heavy Rocks not the orange one" or "Heavy Rocks II the revenge" or whatever). In this one, the long pieces really bore me to death; if it weren't for the pounding in the background, they sound like those annoying little Japanese songs they play at the end of some cartoon like Kiss me Licia. So, taking out the "2 long and boring pieces," we’re left with some nicely bastardized and drawn-out songs just how I like them, so they could even sing in ancient Korean, and I wouldn't care. But there’s just too little of it. From the other release, I heard Panico say that on Lastfm it was labeled as "music for gay venues." I won't even try to listen to it. For those who don’t know them, I would recommend "Absolutego" and "Flood"; if you pass the test, start "exploring" them. The potential is there, it’s just that sometimes I really don't know where the hell they want to go with it.

Oops, my apologies. I thought Hell had written it and that was it. Without Ring. (I played it safe also because I know Hell is a fan of Lustmord). I apologize again: I revoke point 3 and I apologize for the "ad cazzum" citation. But the vote stands. :-)

1) I thought it was the last one. 2) Is Buzzo in this too? Then I'll give it a listen. 3) Always impeccable Dario-Inferno ;-)

I wonder how young and handsome Uncle has become now. In the meantime, I want to remember him like this:
