Astonished, I see that you are all mistaken, unfortunately; this album is heavy metal, without any influence from the '80s! "Screaming for Vengeance," "Defenders of the Faith," and especially "Turbo" are the albums that clearly reference the era, especially in the slow tracks (EVEN THOUGH OUT OF THE THREE, I REALLY LIKE DEFENDERS OF...). Meanwhile, in "Ram It Down," we don't encounter these trends, just as we won't in "Painkiller," for the simple reason that these two albums are the best, because this is HEAVY METAL!!!!!!!!!

Justice, you too; can you explain to me what and who you want to compare??? With that dog face of yours, you don’t know anything about metal!

Mopaga, I remind you that the pieces that will make up "Queen I" and their keys are contained in these two albums.

Amio warns you that this is a "key" album and I place it on the podium of my personal ranking in the Queen realm. Time passes and musical genres change, leading bands to seek new rhythms and new sounds; it's an excellent album for me and I hate people who cling to the past with nails and teeth just because THEY DON'T UNDERSTAND A DAMN THING! Anyway........ let's skip that, regarding the dating: it's both from '79 and '80, as the track lists are divided into two batches, one for each year obviously. Hello everyone.

Andrea, unfortunately I have to tell you that I don't quite agree with what you've written either. This is definitely not a one-star album; I believe only an album like "Hot Space" could have received such a rating (furthermore, it's worth remembering the psycho-physical stress that "Mercury" was under at the time, already in advanced illness and aware that he would soon die). This greatly affected the band's performance, and what's with this story about "POP"? Pop here, pop there, up and down; it seems quite clear to me that it was the genre the band decided to pursue in the '80s (excluding "The Game"). Bye.
