A powerful, genius film, not suitable for the more sensitive stomachs, sometimes (perhaps) a bit too in love with itself and its own horror, but it's among Lynch's peaks, just starting out (he had a few short films under his belt). A stunning black and white and a truly unforgettable protagonist.
