uhmmm... "you move well on kuei takki a spiillooo, ukkèi ita-li-ahhhhh!!!" I'm sorry, but at that point edo was already starting to scrape the bottom of the barrel. But the worst is yet to come with the terrifying "girls have big dreams," a truly disgusting album. "sbandato" never heard of it and I don't intend to hear a single note.

OK Italy obviously refers to other songs on that same album. The girls have big dreams at least compared to others, it has good intentions, but it’s definitely developed like shit... SBANDATOH is an insult to Bennato and all the others who listen to him.

I'm breaking a lance in favor of this Bennato: when I'm in the mood for light(ish) and completely carefree things, I can pleasantly listen to this and other nearby works. Mediocrity that doesn't quite manage to become true garbage, in my ear. Almost always it's good craftsmanship, even if lacking any real inspiration. Then of course, if I'm in the mood for Bennato, I dive into the 70s and early 80s...

Well... compared to the latest works of Venditti or Pino Daniele, this is a masterpiece. It doesn't reach sufficiency, but 1 star is too little; in my opinion, 2 stars is a fair rating... an album that I still respect, considering the tough period Edo was going through. His worst work will come with the diptych "Sbandato" - "L'Uomo Occidentale," two truly awful albums (and yes, those deserve a flat 1).

If I have to listen to very light and trivial things, I prefer Baglioni from the 80s, albums full of catchy tunes, light-years away from my tastes but, all in all, well-crafted. Of course, I respect your tastes.

Well, I’ve never been a fan of Bennato, but if I really have to choose, I’d go for Bennato from the 70s. I have this album; I’ve never listened to it, but honestly, I don’t think it will find a place among my greatest regrets, starting from the cover (terrifying).

worse than anything that comes before and better than everything that comes after. there's still something commendable (for sure not "ukkèi ita-li-aaaaah"), but it's still an overall underwhelming album.
