Mad Season: Above
CD Audio I have it ★★★★★
Words are not enough to define this album, which embodies not only an important chapter in the music scene of the '90s but also, and above all, an attempt at rebirth for us, determined to close that 'crazy season' marked by drug abuse. A descent into the abyss that offers no escape, told with bitter awareness through the voice and words of Layne Staley, accompanied on this journey by the wonderful Mike McCready, John Baker Saunders, and Barrett Martin. An essential listen; just uttering 'Long gone day' sends chills down my spine.
Muse: Origin Of Symmetry
CD Audio I have it ★★★★★
A masterful album that tiptoes into each song before exploding; "the calm before the storm" is perhaps the expression that best represents "Origin of Symmetry," in my humble opinion, the best work of Muse. Inspired, refined, a classy piece that at the same time roars with its guitar bursts and Bellamy's excellent vocal performance. One of the must-haves in the collection among post-2000 albums. My favorites are Bliss and Citizen Erased, capable of both cradling and overwhelming you. SUBLIME

Actually, I have it; I haven't listened to it since middle school. I liked it much more back then, maybe I should give it another listen.

I agree with almost everything. Unfortunately, shortly after, the artistic decline began. However, this remains a masterpiece, their best by far. The following double album Hullabaloo is also crazy.

In my opinion, up to and including Black Holes & Revelations, they released excellent albums, then the inevitable decline. This is obviously the best of all for overall quality. My favorites are Plug In Baby, Space Dementia, and Citizen Erased.

In my opinion, this album is still very raw and rock-oriented, but it already shows several openings to experimentation that will be further explored in the future.

I prefer the subsequent albums precisely for their greater eclecticism; it doesn't matter much that they have a more commercial imprint, but this is still a respectable work.
