When the New Wave meets the macabre, in a captivating and hypnotic dance. An album from 1980, a milestone of the genre and its years. To be listened to alone, in the dark and preferably during the colder months.

Considering the fact that Iโ€™m an (hopeless) lover of obsessive sounds, haunting music, and voices tinged with despair, well, this album is definitely made for me! I discovered them recently, as Iโ€™m also an obsessive researcher of new things to listen to. Being a big fan of The Cure and Bauhaus, I eagerly listened to the entire album, feeling completely satisfied. So yes, I want it on vinyl and I will have it sooner or later. Anyway, the album is from '87, the first from the band formed in '85.

Thirteenth album by the band The Cure, released in 2008 by Geffen Records. A big question mark.
