Radiohead: Kid A
CD Audio I have it
I might be wrong, but I find it a jumbled album that starts off well but almost immediately sinks into something bordering on unbearable. Such a pity, I had high hopes for it.

When I bought it, I thought the same things. Confused and, from halfway through, unbearable. Then, listen after listen, I fell in love with it.

Really? I took it off after the third listen, almost annoyed; it's a shame because I like them a lot.

If you don't like it, so be it. It can happen. 17 years ago this album was a bit innovative, maybe today it doesn’t have the same impact. I still like it, even if not as much as before.

Same. For me, they peaked with "OK Computer". Yes, "Kid A" was innovative too, but in my opinion, they lost their way a bit, drooling over people like the great Autechre, Aphex Twin, and their epileptic friends. It was stuff I had already been listening to for a good 6 years, personally, and during that time I hardly listened to anything else but electronic/techno, etc. Just my personal opinion. It remains a great album, with 'The National Anthem' above all...

It makes perfect sense, I completely agree. I mistakenly referred to it as innovative because, as you rightly say, many had been listening to the genre for several years. They had the merit of making it popular, but I'm not sure if the name Indietronica existed before Kid A. The National Anthem is the best track on the album and one of their best overall.

'Indietronica' is a term I've never heard before, at least not before 2008 and the hipster-douche invasion.

...mostly associated with people like Nathan Fake. Have a good evening.

Even Mr.? My Radiohead are the ones from "Amnesiac"...
I don't remember another band that I've changed my mind about so many times: it must mean something...

Were there more exciting things in the '90s? An infinity..
Are they a band to be overlooked when it comes to the '90s?
    Absolutely not..
    Too hyped?
    Maybe..
    Charlatans?
    I would say definitely not..

Maybe they're the Beatles of the '90s (with the pros and cons of being so)..

I agree, they are close to a masterpiece. I like them overall; maybe King of Limbs is just barely good enough, and the latest one too, even though they frustrated me quite a bit with the lack of new material. As a fan, I didn't find the updated versions of songs I already knew sufficient. My perfect album is one I made myself: Kid A minus the two instrumentals, plus the best tracks that can be paired with Amnesiac.

If I were to make my perfect album between Kid A and Amnesiac, I would remove the tracks with the overly filtered voice (like "Packt...") and maybe Treefingers.
Hunting bears, on the other hand, I like very much.

Renaissance: A Song for All Seasons

An opportunity to listen again to the most beautiful female voice of all time. Day of the dreamer is worth the entire album.
Rockets: Plasteroid

The must-have album if you grew up in the seventies.
Rockets: Galaxy
Vinile I have it ★★★★★
A step below Plasteroid but with one of the most beautiful covers ever made, and a certain Galactica on 5 is out of the question.
