The best band of all time, for me, is the Rolling Stones.

I listened to them, but I find some of their early albums a bit "stodgy." That said, between 1968 and 1972 they released 4 masterpieces in a row.

The Led Zeppelin created 5 masterpieces in their early albums, the Stones didn’t start off with a bang immediately. Even though I still prefer them to the Beatles.

These new listens were suggested to me by a very knowledgeable Facebook user about progressive music... he practically knows everything about British, German, French prog and from other countries... he's a sort of guru.

And instead, it is (she and the Alpes) French. Of course, the origins are Portuguese, yes. In fact, the song I posted over there is a cover (the only one on the album) of a Portuguese protest singer, who was also quite politically engaged, named Josè "Zeka" Alfonso, of whom unfortunately I don't know any other tracks.
